Again a tornado warning was issued for the south eastern region of Manitoba. It ended this morning just after midnight. The storm system that swept through southern Manitoba produced severe winds and hail. The Free Press calls the hail toonie sized – that’s a new unit for me 🙂
Strong winds brought down the scaffolding and parts of the construction site at South Beach Casino in Scanterbury. The debris fell on some parked vehicles, but there are currently no reports of people being harmed.
Was anybody at the casino last night. Can you give us a more accurate report?
