The body found stuffed into a barrel that was found floating on the Lee River close to Lac du Bonnet on Wednesday has been identified by police. The remains belong to a 22 year old Winnipeg man, last seen in the York Avenue area on February 6th.
Apart from the fact the the Winnipeg RCMP major crimes unit is investigating the case as a possible homicide, police were not willing to reveal any more details.
