Last night we went to the Summer Winds Festival in Victoria Beach, beside the Firehall on Hwy 59 at Ateah Road. Music was great, just like the weather! Only after the sun went down did the mosquitoes start making things uncomfortable – and the fish-flies started covering everything that had light shining on it.

One of the goals of the concert was to raise funds to repair the recent vandalism. Also, some of the profit was to go towards the upgrade of the baseball park and skateboard pad and the purchase of sport’s equipment.

It featured childrens activities food stands and a skate-board park. – and of course: Dr. Rage & The Uppercuts.
