The Idle Thyme Restaurant now closes at 2 pm on weekdays.
The Traverse Bay Store closes at 7 pm on weekdays
The Hillside Beach Store will stay open till 8pm and close its kitchen at 7:30 pm during the week.
Saffies in Albert Beach will stay open till 8 pm during the week.

On Saturday afternoon I went back to start working on my sandpoint and my water problem. Driving the pipes, that were by now over 12 feet in the ground, down was becoming more and more difficult.

Thursday the hot weather ended with a bang! My power kept failing here in Hillside Beach during the night. There was lots of severe rain and strong winds, accompanied by thunder and lightning.

August and early September are the perfect time to go to Manitoba’s Beaches! Weather is warm, mid to upper 80s, it is the sunniest time of year and the mosquitos have quieted down. Enjoy the summer by renting a cottage for a week.
