A resident of Winnipeg Beach has started a facebook page to gather support for the protection of the McLean family during the funeral of their son. A fanatical US religious group wants to disrupt the services claiming the Greyhound bus slaying is God’s punishment for Canada’s moral stand on such things as abortion, homosexuality and adultery!
I couldn’t believe it when I first read about it. How twisted are these people that belong to the Westboro Baptist Church? How can a whole group of people be so full of hate and then go off and say they are christians? In my mind one excludes the other.
I hope the influx of crazies like that gets stopped at the boarder. These people are just as wacky and dangerous as the original perp.
From what I read there will be RCMP presence too at the service.
