Construction on South Beach Casino Hotel delayed
The South Beach Casino Hotel in Scanterbury Manitoba was supposed to be opening at the end of this summer. Delays caused by an ongoing investigation by the province’s workplace safety and health division this date may not be met. Construction has been closed down untill the end of the investigation.

South Beach Casino in Scanterbury damaged by severe weather
Strong winds brought down the scaffolding and parts of the construction site at South Beach Casino in Scanterbury. The debris fell on some parked vehicles, but there are currently no reports of people being harmed.

Local weather forecast for the Eastern Beaches Area
Though it can be sunny at the Beaches the weather forcast for Southern Manitoba will predict rain. I wish Environment Canada would discover the area from Patricia Beach to Victoria Beach. Well now it’s official. South Beach Casino in Scanterbury will be going smoke free as of May 17th of this year! Will the Casino in Scanterbury go Smoke-Free?
Supposedly there is an agreement between the Provincial Government and the management of the South Beach casino to ban smoking within the casino soon. The deal sopposedly is that they will be allowed to set up an additional three hundred one armed bandits in exchange for going smoke-free.
