Tornado Season has started in Manitoba

I just read  an article on the CBC website. It said that tornado warnings had been issued for a large part of southern Manitoba and Saskatchawan for yesterday.

Though tornadoes (tornados? whats the proper plural?) are not really common in the Eastern Beaches Area of Manitoba, we all remember the twister that came down at Gull Lake two years ago, killing one person and our power and phone lines.
