Well, it’s over. The jackpot was cracked, the 43 million are gone.
Actually it was more than 43 million, it ended up being over 45 million dollars: $45,145,712.00!
The prize was won equally by two tickets, one from Quebec and the other from Ontario.
The new jackpot for Saturday is estimated at 4 million dollars.

The Beach is still there and if the sun were shining it would be really inviting. The water ist absolutely freezing though. The ice just came off a bit over a week ago.
As my mother is over visiting I thought it might be a nice idea to take the canoe to Elk Island. We packed the canoe on the roof of the Jeep and drove to the boat launch across from the island.
