UNESCO World Heritage Site on east side of Lake Winnipeg
As part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site nomination on the east side of Lake Winnipeg. Manitoba’s Natural Resources Minister Stan Struthers and his Ontario counterpart joined forces today to protect an area in both provinces.
One of the goals of this plan is to better protect the woodland caribou that live in this region.
