A boat from Poplar River River with a crew of three capsized on Lake Winnipeg yesterday. The crew was going to pick up bouys on the Lake to clear up before winter and ran into engine trouble.

After being bashed about by 9 to 10 foot waves for close to 13 hours the boat capsized. Two of the crew could save themselves in an emergency vessel. The third, the skipper, is still missing. RCMP and Search and rescue are still looking for the 63 year old captain.

None of the crew apear to have been wearing life jackets inspite of the rough weather.
