Ian here from the Veranda Gift Shop….well maybe not since I am writing this from Swift Current Saskatchewan with a balmy temperature of -18c.

Paulette and I are on our way to Victoria BC with a stop for a few days in Vancouver (we expect to get into Vancouver around January 13 just after they receive up to 30cm of snow…go figure)

Nothing like a trip through the mountains in winter but heh we’re Manitobans winter is our middle name!!!

So far the roads have been good. Lots of snow in Saskatchewan (SK). Not to many snowmobile tracks though…should have brought my sled.

Tomorrow we plan to get to Kamloops. I will post then.

By for now
