Today was the last day the Veranda Gift Shop in Hillside Beach was open.
Paulette and Ian have decided to retire and have sold the premises.
Originally Ian ran the McDonald Tool Rental shop from the property at the corner of Hillside Beach Road and Harry Craig Road.

Well its Dec 28 and the weather is nice (-12C when I checked the thermometer this morning @ 7:00). Today is starting off sunny. Went for a walk down to the boat launch (on Harry Craig road).
