Looking out my front door this morning I finally understood why the willows and cedars I planted last year don’t seem to grow and hardly have any new shoots this spring.
There was this full sized deer nibbling away at the fresh leaves of the young willows.
It’s that time of year again. The bucks have gone in heat and as hormone charged as they are they can be a serious hazzard for drivers. Especially now with visibility often low and road conditions below optimal.
