This week-end at the Lake is expected to be perfect Fall cottage weather. Mainly sunny on Saturday with 0% chance of percipitation and sunny on Sunday.
The rain has let off and it will be sunny for the next few days at least.
So everybody grab your beach gear and off to the cottage.
Over exposure to the UV rays of our sun can lead to sun burns, which in turn are partly blaimed for skin cancer – melanoma. So let’s play it safe, wear a hat at the beach and no skinning dipping before sunset!
People may even have to think twice before planning a weekend trip to the cottage. For most families a trip to the Lake from Winnipeg and back with their family car will cost them between 40 and 50 Liters of gasoline. That’s between 60 and 70 bucks right there – and you haven’t picked up groceries, gotten gas for the boat or filled up the propane tank yet.
Though it can be sunny at the Beaches the weather forcast for Southern Manitoba will predict rain. I wish Environment Canada would discover the area from Patricia Beach to Victoria Beach. Not even Grand Beach gets mentioned in 99% of the weather forecasts! A good place to check the current weather is our Eastern Beaches Website. A new type of mosquito has supposedly decided to set up residence in Sunny Manitoba. It is called ‘Urotaenia saffrina’.
